Grab your costume and running shoes! The Lakeside Viking 5K is going full Halloween this year!
Join us Saturday, October 31st at 8 AM at Lakeside High School for the best morning of the fall: crisp air, peak running weather, and a community turning out in force (some of them in capes).
Whether you ran with us in previous years or you're lacing up for the first time, this is the race you don't want to miss.
The 5K begins and ends on the Lakeside High School track and winds through the neighborhood. And yes, this race is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier!
All proceeds from the 5K support Lakeside H.S. Foundation programs, enhancing education, athletics, and the arts at Lakeside High School.
The race is USATF Certified and Chip Timed. Awards go to the Top Overall Male and Female, and Top Masters Male and Female.
Costumes are welcome and encouraged! And this year, even your 4-legged companion can join you for only $10. Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed dog and human alike.

- Registration/packet pickup begins at 7 AM on the track.
- Warm-up exercises at 7:45 AM.
- Race starts at 8 AM.
