We were saddened to learn of the passing in 2021 of two much-loved retired LHS educators, Ruth Sanders and Bill Driskell, when memorial donations were made to the Foundation to honor their memories. We invite you to read about Mrs. Sanders and Mr. Driskell below. Even if you didn’t personally know these educators, their stories illustrate their love for education and for the Lakeside community. Their commitment to the success of students continues even after their passing, through the generosity of Lakeside community members.
