In 2006, the Lakeside High School Foundation, Inc. was formed as a 501(c)(3) entity. The Foundation supports and implements impactful, sustainable opportunities and initiatives that complement the school’s efforts to build a strong educational focus and a vibrant school community.
Each year the Foundation awards thousands of dollars in Grants to Lakeside Students and Staff. These grants support a wide variety of needs and interests: Curriculum and Instruction, Custodial and Facility Support, Visual and Performing Arts, Athletics, ROTC, and Clubs. We endeavor to enrich educational opportunities for every student in general, special, gifted, and ESOL education programs. Scholarships are awarded annually to outstanding students, and humanitarian support is available to students in times of need.
The Foundation is eager to work with other organizations to support Lakeside. We are pleased to honor Alumni through the Lakeside Hall of Fame Project. We have been proud to partner with Scouting organizations to facilitate projects that benefit the Lakeside community.
The Foundation raises funds through donations, from the annual 5k Run that it holds each December, and other events throughout the year.
The work of the Foundation depends on the continued support of the Lakeside community. If you are not a current donor, we encourage you to become one today!

How do I get a project considered by Lakeside High School Foundation?
The Lakeside High School Foundation is interested in ideas for future projects. Please contact the Foundation with your idea and how LHS would benefit from the project. Please be sure to include with your ideas ways to implement the project and possible financial support for the project.
The LHS Foundation Alumni Committee is responsible for mobilizing LHS's huge alumni base to support Foundation projects and the Foundation's goals.
